Rare Breed Manx Sheepskin

Indulge in luxurious comfort with our Rare Breed Manx sheepskin rugs,  celebrated for its rich colour, softness, and versatility, often described as a "moorit" (reddish-brown) or mouse coloured fleece.  Crafted by hand by our neighbours Devonia the oldest Tannery in Britain on the edge of Dartmoor. 

Our Manx sheepskins are sourced exclusively from Isle of Man farmers, they are quite rare and therefore availability is limited making them even more special.  Each one is unique, with its distinctive brown and cream markings.

Sheepskins are eco-friendly due to their biodegradability and minimal environmental impact. The production process typically involves fewer chemicals compared to synthetic materials. Additionally, sheepskin is a byproduct of the meat industry, therefore reducing waste and ethically using all of the animal.

Care Guide:

The natural lanolin in a sheepskin helps keep them clean and resilient to dirt and spills, We recommend giving the sheepskin a good shake and brush regularly to keep it looking its best.
