Bohero Buhera Basket (XL)

These beautiful Bohero baskets from Zimbabwe form part of our Africa Collection.  Handwoven vessels full of organic shape, texture and quiet sculptural presence.

Traditionally made by women from the Buhera district using natural river reeds. Originally created for storing grain, food and household essentials, these baskets now make wonderful decorative pieces for the home. 

With their organic rounded shape, natural woven texture and beautifully imperfect form, they work perfectly as floor baskets, planter surrounds, decorative storage or sculptural vessels.

Dimensions:  Approx. 80cm High x 60cm dia at widest point

Each basket is handmade and unique, with natural variations in shape, tone, weave and size.
